GENERAL
Gloo is a WordPress plugin centered on Elementor augmentation which sets out to address and provide
solutions to a multitude of issues encountered throughout more than 50 years of collective web
development and design experience accrued by its developers.
- What does Gloo offer that isn't found elsewhere?
Features like the Interactor Engine, Dynamify, Composer Kit, Google Sheets Dynamic Tag, Front-End submission and editing, Front-End user submission and editing, and our exclusive Dynamic Tags functionalities with custom return values and outputs can be found nowhere else but within Gloo.
- Does Gloo support other plugins other than Elementor?
Yes. Not only it does so, but an entire subsection of Gloo called SuperGloo is centered around expanding Elementor support for your favorite 3rd party plugins.
- What's the difference between the three pricing models?
Every single package gives access to all Gloo features and all updates for a year. The only difference sits within the number of websites the license is usable on, with Gloo-e supporting a single website, Hot Gloo supporting 5, and finally Super Gloo with as many as 25.
- What does the affiliate program entail?
Gloo’s affiliate program comes with an
Affiliate Area one can log in to and check all manner of statistics at a glance. Gloo’s affiliate program differs in its commissions, which is as much as 10% on every purchase through the referral link, provided in the
Affiliate Area.
GLOO'S STRUCTURE
Gloo is organized in segments, which are structured according to their function, and contain the various modules.
Segments are Gloo’s main categories, gathering together features that address certain developmental challenges and solutions. Each segment contains subsegments to further categorize Gloo’s features.
- What exactly is a module?
Modules, simply put, are Gloo’s single features. They can be widgets, extensions, or addons.
Scopes have been ideated for ease of navigation on the website, but you won’t find them in the plugin itself. They’re categories gathering all similar modules regardless of their segment so that you can better find what you’re looking for. Within these scopes is where you’ll encounter the features.
Dependencies represent the other plugins or widgets you might need to implement certain Gloo features that are centered around augmenting those plugins.
GLOO'S MAIN SEGMENTS
- What are Gloo's main segments?
They’re Power Gloo, Fluid Dynamic, Super Gloo, and last but not least, Interactor, each with their own subsegments.
Power Gloo is, simply put, the designer heart of Gloo. It directly expands Elementor’s possibilities with features such as better typography, simplified CSS keyframe animation, togglable front-end draggability, clickability, and more.
Fluid Dynamic is all about dynamic tags. They differ from native dynamic tags in their uniqueness and the output format options they offer: UL lists, OL lists, Array Length, Specific Array positions, on top of the classic delimiter-based output which before Gloo was the only option.
SuperGloo is a collection of addons centered on 3rd party plugins that previously were only semi-integrated with Elementor, if at all, now providing deeper control for the developer to achieve more complex scenarios. SuperGloo also contains subsegments such as the BuddyBoss Gloo kit, Membership Extensions, Woo Gloo, Forms Extensions, and Little Engine.
Interactor is a one of a kind Engine to generate custom jQuery triggers and events. It also supports variables and connectors (like the DataLayer Connector or the Zapier Connector). To assure maximum modularity, it’s also equipped with a PHP-based dynamic conditions section.
